*Evaluations are typically done with a hand auger which is included in the price. If there is a need for backhoes/mini excavators those costs are additional.
Moraine Testing
Counties in the northern part of our service area may require special moraine testing, which necessitates pits dug with a 24" bucket and lab tests. Our price includes the soil evaluation and lab tests. The cost of digging the pits is NOT included. A Moraine test is required in NE Delaware County and the Northern half of Randolph County. Pits must be used in Wells and Jay county with additional moraine tests possible.
